Brian Vitori's only scoring shot for Zimbabwe in the 2012 World Twenty20 was worth seven runs.

The ICC almost bend over backwards to avoid describing the World Twenty20 tournament as a "World Cup". They own the event, they are the world governing body, and therefore it is not a World Cup. To the rest of us, however, if it looks like a World Cup, feels like a World Cup, smells like a World Cup...

On the last point however, I digress. The smell is worse.

The fourth ICC World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka is about to start. I have not a clue who's going to win it.

After the Indian Premier League, the ICC World Twenty20 has been like a breath of fresh air. Sort of like escaping from Dante's Inferno (think Eyjafjallajökull with cheerleaders and DLF Maximums) and entering the Garden of Eden (with its Guyana wing being a rainforest).
