As if Sarah Palin's gubernatorial farewell wasn't enough, she has now made the transition to civilian twitterato. But the scariest thing about this video, from Wednesday night's NBC Tonight Show, is not Ms Palin's tweeting, but the fact that under all that cosmetic architecture, William Shatner is 78 years old:

Position statement: Voting history, political party and trade union affiliations

I've decided on full transparency with regards to my voting history and endorsements in politics. I believe it helps in understanding where I am coming from in my blog posts. Don't ever expect the Fox News pretence of "Fair and Balanced". I'll try to be fair and reasonable, and explain my rationale where I feel appropriate to do so.

The links below relate to the relevant blog entries for elections in which I have taken part since 2004 - three Federal elections, one state election and one by-election, one council election - as well as summaries of my voting histories before then.

This page represents the Table of Contents for the obligatory "About Me" section of this website. As I have become more active on Twitter and built up a whole new range of contacts it's probably high time I wrote some updated information on who I am, what I stand for and, for that matter, how you can help me make a living!

The best methods of contacting me can be found on my contact me page.

About this blog

I've been putting my thoughts out onto the Intertubes since about 1992, firstly through BBS boards, then Fidonet echoes, then Usenet groups (notably rec.sport.cricket and aus.sport.rugby-league, the latter of which was established by me in 1995). The two major topics that I dealt with online in those days were, as the title of the newsgroups suggest, cricket and rugby league.
